LuxCaritas was founded by Jake Moroshek, an AI inventor and healthcare product leader with advanced degrees from MIT, Duke University, and the University of Minnesota. His background bridges direct patient care experience with cutting-edge AI innovation, creating solutions that prioritize human dignity alongside technological efficiency. Jake's journey began with AIMedIntake, where he witnessed firsthand how administrative burdens prevent healthcare workers from focusing on patient care.
Leading our mission operations is Amy Ikejiaku, Director of Mission Operations, who brings deep expertise in clinical research, patient navigation, and faith-based service. A Duke neuroscience graduate fluent in English, Spanish, and Igbo, Amy has coordinated care for over 50 patients daily at Cardinal Health and increased minority participation in clinical trials by 25% at the Lazarex Cancer Foundation. As a practicing Catholic passionate about serving vulnerable communities, Amy ensures that every LuxCaritas solution honors the dignity of those we serve—bridging technology with the lived experiences of shelter guests and the frontline workers who support them. Her unique perspective as both a clinical research professional and a woman of faith makes her the vital link between innovation and compassionate implementation.
